Project Manager

Program manager for ICTBI. She is an occupational therapist and certified brain injury specialist with 10+ years of clinical experience treating children and adults with TBI as well as other neurological disorders. She is currently completing her post-professional clinical doctorate program in occupational therapy and has completed specialized training in remedial vision rehabilitation (RVR) with acquired brain injury emphasis.

Practicing Neuropsychologist

Retired advisor to the Department of Defense regarding traumatic brain injury.
Developer of multiple neuropsychological tests including the Rey Complex Figure and Recognition Trial test.
Founder and creator of the Meyers Neuropsychological Battery/System and related databases.

CAROL V. ANDERSON, PhD, ABPP-CN

Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University – Idaho and an Assistant Professor at Weber State University.

Specializes in forensic neuropsychology and acquired brain injury evaluations both TBI and Hypoxic/Anoxic Encephalopathy.

MR. R. ROGER MAJAK

Trade Advisor to State Department and Congress

R. Roger Majak is a political economist who served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration (now Bureau of Industrial Security) from 1996-2001 and Staff Director of the U.S. House Subcommittee on International Economic Policy and Trade from 1976-1985.  As a consultant to the U. S. State Department, he has trained senior foreign officials in more than a dozen countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia on U.S. trade laws and procedures.

MR. THOMAS E. KNUDSEN

Former Chief Executive Officer of Philadelphia Gas

Mr. Thomas E. Knudsen has had a long-standing involvement with issues of the brain and a career that spanned both the private sector and public institutions. Prior to his retirement, he served for over 10 years as the Chief Executive Officer of Philadelphia Gas, one of the country’s few utilities owned by a large metromarket municipality. Prior to that assignment, he was Founder and President of the Woodside Group, Inc., a management consulting company in Stamford, Connecticut.

MR. ROGER M. WIDMANN

Mr. Roger M. Widmann has a 40+ year career on Wall Street as a venture capitalist and investment banker, ultimately as the head of investment banking at Chemical Bank, a predecessor of JPMorgan Chase. He was a founder and CEO of First Reserve Corporation, the pioneer energy investing firm in the US, with over $20 Billion under management. In addition to serving as a director of 6 public companies, he was a senior moderator of the Executive Seminar at the Aspen Institute for 20 years.

MR. RICHARD SANDBERG

Executive Director and a founder of ICTBI.

Mr. Richard Sandberg has served as Chairman and/or a key officer of a number of successful healthcare companies including DIANON Systems, Inc.; Lifecodes Corporation; Matritech, Inc.; and Oxford Immunotec Global PLC . He has been asked and has agreed to serve as Acting CEO of our first project for chronic TBI.
